Director Ngatunga, Chairman of the NMB Board of Directors, has a strong management background including a broad range of investment/development banking and consultancy service responsibilities. For over 35 years he has been closely involved with the provision of financial, advisory and other types of services to small, medium and large enterprises, both private and public.

In the period from 1995 to 2003, Director Ngatunga managed the East African Regional Office of the Africa Project development Facility (APDF) based in Nairobi, Kenya. APDF was an affiliate of the IFC of the World Bank Group, spearheading assistance to MSMEs in Africa.

Prior to this period, Director Ngatunga worked with the East African Development Bank (EADB), a leading provider of long-term finance based in Kampala, Uganda where he also headed the bank's operations department for fifteen years.

Director Bruce Dick is currently the General Manager Africa Rabo Development in the Netherlands. He also seats in the Boards of Banco Terra, in Mozambique, Zanaco, in Zambia and BPR in Rwanda.

Director Bruce Dick has been working with the Rabobank Group since 1999.At the Rabobank group he has worked in various divisions, including, Chief Executive Officer and Director Retail Banking and General Manager..

Before taking his present position, Mr. Dick was the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Rabobank Australia and New Zealand group .This bank is primarily focusing on food and Agribusiness banking in both wholesale and retail as well as wealth management and savings products.

Director Mosha is an economist by profession. He holds a B.SC (Econ) and a M.SC (Econ) as well as postgraduate diplomas in Management, Marketing and International Trade. He pursued his studies at the Helsinki School of Economics, the City of London College and Harvard Business School.

Director Mosha has more than 22 years of experience at the United Nations, where he served in various positions, including Chief of the Africa Trade Development Center (UNECA), Senior economist (UNCTC), Representative, UN Africa regional office, Senior Aide and Advisor to General Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria and Director of African Leadership Forum under General Obasanjo, UN Special Advisor to the late Mwalimu Nyerere on Burundi peace negotiations and Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Somalia

Director Mosha coordinated the NICO initiative and became its first Chairman. He is currently involved in farming and other businesses..

Tehingisa, Protase PROTASE TEHINGISA
Protase Tehingisa, holds an LL.B (Hons.) degree from the University of Dar es Salaam obtained in 1971. He has also attended various courses, including mining development law at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina (1973), Commercial Lawyers Course with the Crown Agents, United Kingdom (1982), Development Lawyers' course at the IDLI, Rome, Italy (1985) and a Diploma in Management at Ashridge Management College, United Kingdom (1995).

Mr Tehingisa's work experience includes a stint as a State Attorney in the Attorney General's Chambers (1971), a Corporation Counsel in the Tanzania Legal Corporation (1971-1974) and various positions in the Legal and Secretariat Department of the East African Development Bank (EADB) in Kampala, Uganda (1974-2003) which department he headed as Secretary/Counsel for nine years, till his retirement in 2003.

In the latter position, he was a member of the Management Committee of EADB and a regular participant in several UNCITRAL sessions and the IBRD/IMF Annual Meetings. He also represented EADB on several Boards and various negotiations missions.

Mr. Tehingisa currently resides in Dar es Salaam, pursuing a carrier in corporate / investment law. He was appointed to the NMB Board in 2003.

van Lange, Jos JOS VAN LANGE
Director Van Lange is an NMB Director and has been working for Rabobank Nederland for more than 25 years. He was a member of various interbank committees.

As of 1st December 2006, when the Rabobank's acquisition of Bouwfonds was finalized, Director Van Lange was appointed Chief Financial & Risk Officer of Rabo Bouwfonds, the newly formed international real estate company.

Before he became a member of the Executive Board / CFRO of Rabo Bouwfonds, Director Van Lange headed various departments, including Control, Market Analysis and Product development, Product/market units and Retail Banking.

Director van Lange has been a Director of Rabobank Nederland (senior executive vice president) since the 1st February 2002.

Laiser, Mike MIKE LAISER
Director Laiser is an enterprise development economist by profession, and his areas of expertise are SME and rural development, micro-finance, industrial development and management, as well as technology transfer. He spent 25 years working on SME development as a Manager and consultant in Tanzania and other SADC countries.

Director Laiser is currently the Director-General of Small Industries Development Organization (SIDO).

Director Laiser has chaired several organizations, such as Credit for Productive Activities for Women in Tanzania and Tanzania Youth for Employment Foundation. He has also been a consultant for UNIDO, ESAMI, SADC, SIDA and ECA.

 

MargarethIkongo MARGARET IKONGO
Margaret Ikongo is the Insurance professional. She has worked in Insurance field since 1983.

Mrs. Ikongo before her current job at Ministry for Finance, she was serving as the Managing Director at the National Insurance Corporation (T) Ltd. Mrs. Ikongo is the associate member of Chartered Insurance Institute- UK and professional member of Association of Tanzania Insurers.

Mrs. Ikongo is a holder of Post Graduate Diploma in Finance Management from the Institute of Finance Management- Dar es Salaam. She is currently pursuing professional courses in International Diploma in Risk Management at the Institute of Risk Management- UK and Masters in Business Administration at the Open University of Tanzania. She Joined NMB board in April, 2009.

 

WilliamMlaki WILLIAM MLAKI
Mr. William A Mlaki is a professional Career Development Banker.

Mr. William A Mlaki is currently the executive Director of Apex Business Links after retiring as the Managing Director of Tanzania Investment Bank.

May 2009, before he became the bank’s CEO. Mr. Mlaki held other senior positions, first as Director of Planning and Development and then as Director of Port Folio Monitoring and Supervision.

Mr. William is also the chairman of Board of Directors of PTA Bank (Eastern and Southern Africa Trade and Development Bank) and a Director of the Board of Trustee of the SADC Development Finance Resource Centre based in Gaborone, Botswana.

Mr. William holds MSc Degree in industrial and Agro –Industrial Management, and BA (Hons) in Economics.

 

YonaKillagane YONA KILLAGANE
Yona Killagane is a professional Accountant. He has worked in Accountancy field since 1976.

Mr. Killagane is currently serving as the Managing Director of Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation. He is a member of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors in Tanzania and fellow member of Chartered Association of Certified Accountant (ACCA) - UK.

Mr. Killagane holds Masters of Science degree in Financial Management from the University of Strathclyde- Scotland, United Kingdom. He joined NMB board in April, 2009.

 

Komwihangiro, Lilian LILIAN KOMWIHANGIRO
COMPANY SECRETARY

Lilian Komwihangiro holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and Master of Laws in commercial and business law, both from the University of Dar es Salaam.
Mrs. Komwihangiro joined NMB in 2003, having previously worked as a legal consultant for Maajar, Rwechungura and Kameja Advocates, FK Law Chambers and PricewaterhouseCoopers. She has ten years of working experience in the legal field and is also an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania.
