NMB introduced NMB LUKU RECHARGE

On June 25th 2008, NMB has introduced NMB LUKU RECHARGE service for pre-paid electricity customers famously known as LUKU in Tanzania. This service fits the rapidly expanding range of services that NMB is offering its customers
Customers with NMB cards will be able to purchase LUKU using the ever-growing countrywide NMB ATM network. NMB operates more than 100 ATMs, which is the largest ATM network in the country. By end of this year, NMB ATM network will have 200 ATMs.
At the introduction of this service, NMB Chief Executive Officer Ben Christiaanse stated: “This is an excellent example of how two companies can work together for the benefit of the people all over Tanzania. Very soon our customers all over Tanzania can benefit from the convenience of purchasing electricity units through our ATMs. This service will enable many people to purchase LUKU at any NMB ATM located in NMB branches countrywide". Mr. Christiaanse reaffirmed NMB's commitment to offer practical and very affordable services to the people of Tanzania.
